Structure and function of cooling tower:
Supports and tower bodies: external supports;
Packing: to provide water and air as large as possible heat transfer area;
Cooling water tank: located at the bottom of the cooling tower to receive cooling water;
Water collector: to recover water droplets taken away by air flow;
Air inlet: cooling tower air inlet;
Blinds: Average intake air flow to retain water in the tower;
Cooling tower principle -- Composition:
Water spraying device: the cooling water ejection;
Fan: supply air to the cooling tower;
Axial fan is used for induced ventilation cooling tower;
Axial flow/centrifugal fans are used for forced ventilation cooling towers.
