The water in the cooling tower usually relies on natural heat dissipation, so the volume and surface area of the cooling tower must be large enough. If the ambient temperature is too high (for example, above 40°C), the cooling water in the cooling tower will be too hot, reducing the heat exchange capacity and preventing the coupling oil temperature from performing cold symbols. In order to ensure the heat balance of the coupling, you can choose to continuously or intermittently add cold water to the cooling tower.


In order to conserve water, some equipment installs a heat valve in the intake pipe of the cooling water tower. When the temperature of the cooling water reaches the limit, the heat valve will come into play. Open the water inlet and add cold water with lower temperature to the cooling water tower; When the water temperature reaches the requirement, close the heat valve and stop the water supply. In this way, it can always ensure that the cooling water in the cooling tower is not higher than the set temperature.


The primary factor affecting the heat transfer effect is that in the cooling tower, water forms water film or water drop in the packing. In the process of direct touch with air, heat and mass transfer occur together. Heat transfer is caused by the temperature difference between water and air and by mass transfer. This is because the water vapor formed by transpiration from the water surface is constantly dispersed into the air, which in turn vaporizes the water into the air. In the process of heat and mass transfer, the water cooling process is called transpiration cooling process, so water is in the process of transpiration cooling. Heat dissipation consists of touch heat dissipation (conduction and convection) and transpiration heat dissipation.


The primary factor affecting the heat transfer effect: the purpose of using cooling water tower is to achieve a certain cooling effect, which mainly depends on the radiator, fan air volume, water consumption of cooling water tower and good ventilation conditions. Installation orientation also has a certain effect.
